Role Overview:

NEBU Apprentice

About the Role

  • Assist in implementing and maintaining data security measures to protect company assets and sensitive information.

  • Monitor and analyze security events and incidents to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.

  • Participate in the development and implementation of security policies, procedures, and best practices.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security requirements are integrated into systems and processes.

  • Conduct regular security assessments and audits to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices.

  • Assist in incident response activities, including investigation, containment, and remediation of security incidents.

  • Stay current with emerging threats, technologies, and trends in the field of data security.

About You

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

  • Understanding of basic cybersecurity principles and concepts.

  • Familiarity with networking protocols, operating systems, and cloud technologies.

  • Knowledge of common security tools and technologies (e.g., firewalls, intrusion detection systems, antivirus software).

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
