Your Role and Responsibilities

• Act as devops tech lead, being a role model for the team and providing technical guidance.

• Responsible to build, manage and automate CI/CD pipeline across development, QA, staging and production environments for SaaS solutions.

• Implement IaC best practices for provisioning and configuring resources.

• Implement security best practices in Kubernetes such as RBAC, network policies and security policies.

• Be hands-on to troubleshoot and debug build, CI/CD infrastructure issues and support issues.

• Work with various stakeholders like Development team, SRE and senior technical members to build and evolve DevOps strategies.

• Define and build processes and test plans to comply with all operational and security requirements.

• Participate in code reviews with the team.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 12+ years of professional experience working as devops engineer building enterprise applications or product that is deployed across multiple Clouds like IBM Cloud, AWS, Azure.

• Experience working as devops lead working with Agile methodologies.

• Deep understanding on Kubernetes, Linux OS and containerization environments

• Excellent programming skills with shell scripts and languages utilized in devops tooling to automate and test everything (python or golang).

• Experience on security and compliance, working with security scanning tools and validating the software supply chain of software developed by teams.

• Excellent communications skills and ability to work with senior technical leadership, product management and build solutions.

• Experience operating relational databases (Postgres), key-value databases (redis) and message systems like kafka or RabbitMQ.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Experience with gitops architecture and tools like ArgoCD

• Experience in building global available SaaS products with high load.

• Experience in design and development of complex enterprise solution based on microservices and/or event-driven architectures.

• Experience in Networking and telecom domains in public and private clouds.

About Business UnitSoftware Defined Networking (SDN) Business unit focuses on software based networking, an architecture approach that enables network to be intelligently and centrally controlled using software with main focus on automating network functions, allowing for simpler provisioning and management of network resources, everywhere from the data center to the campus to the edge.

This job requires you to be fully COVID-19 vaccinated prior to your start date and proof of vaccination status will be required before your start date.
