Your role and responsibilities
As a Delivery Consultant, you will work closely with IBM clients and partners to design, deliver, and optimize IBM Technology solutions that align with your clients' goals. In this role, you will apply your technical expertise to ensure world-class delivery while leveraging your consultative skills such as problem-solving issue- / hypothesis-based methodologies, communication, and service orientation skills. Required technical and professional expertise
We are looking for a High-Performance Computing (HPC) Engineer to join our team, mirroring the expertise and problem-solving mindset of our top-performing engineers. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, technical support environment, possesses strong analytical skills, and has a passion for enterprise-level HPC systems and cloud technologies.
As a key member of our IBM HPC support team, you will provide world-class technical assistance, troubleshoot complex issues, and collaborate across multiple teams to drive impactful solutions.
Primary Responsibilities:
Technical Support & Troubleshooting: Provide expert-level support for enterprise customers using IBM Spectrum LSF, SLURM, and OpenShift, ensuring high availability and optimal system performance.
Problem Resolution: Diagnose, prioritize, and resolve technical issues independently using advanced problem determination and root-cause analysis skills.
Incident & Escalation Management: Handle critical customer issues, urgent escalations, and hotline support while working closely with development, product management, and sales teams.
Knowledge Development: Create and enhance technical knowledge bases, develop troubleshooting guides, and refine support tools to improve efficiency.
Process Optimization: Recommend and implement improvements to existing technical support tools, procedures, and processes.
Collaboration & Customer Engagement: Provide exceptional customer service to large enterprise users, communicating action plans and resolution timelines effectively.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
5+ years of experience in HPC systems administration and support, specifically with IBM Spectrum LSF and SLURM.
Strong expertise in OpenShift and containerized computing environments.
Advanced system-level knowledge of Unix/Linux/Windows operating systems.
Proven ability to analyse, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams.
Strong experience handling enterprise-level customer support with a focus on productivity and quality.

Deep expertise in HPC cluster management, cloud computing, and enterprise software solutions.
Experience in support or product development for large-scale enterprise software solutions.
