We are currently seeking a Buyer who will be responsible for the below mentioned activities.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

Purchasing goods for a company to use. This position requires extensive research and the ability to negotiate with suppliers, manage an inventory, evaluate quality goods, and stick within a budget.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Purchase Order creation and approval (Expense material, Standard purchases, CAPEX) within lead time. Vendor Follow ups regarding shipments, ensuring on-time delivery for POs. Ensure no stock out of Manufacturing consumables and chemicals. Responsible for running procurement DM covering all purchase orders raised for the organization to meet the target delivery date. Meet regulatory requirements and follow policies and procedures. Ensure only Approved Raw materials/ Service is procured.

• Receiving transaction and miscellaneous Transaction for expense items materials in Oracle as applicable. Order Management Transaction for Capital goods (Internal Capex shipment).

Generating service invoice GRNs and transfer the same to finance for payment. Updating GRN report in finance excel Tracker.

• Support warehouse team in in-warding the manufacturing consumables and R&D materials with good condition. Verifying and identifying the received materials and tagging the material identifier sticker. Generating the GRN for correct quantity as per vendor invoice with verification against PO. Managing material transfer to next function post processing GRNs. Maintain received goods and service invoices data in suitable format.

The required qualifications for the job include: Bachelor’s degree in field with 3+ years of experience, or Master’s degree in field with 2+ years.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: Oracle, advanced excel, Power BI, good documentation process and Kanban knowledge.

This job is eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
