Qualcomm Automotive Test Engineer in Bangalore, India

General Summary:

  • As a member of the Automotive Test team the candidate will help in meeting 100% Testing of SW modules goals ,identity issues on different modules and communicate the same to Development Team. He/she will work with engineers across a range of disciplines (e.g. hardware, software and systems)

  • Atleast 6 to 8 years of experience in below areas

  • Possess strong Python scripting, C/C++ programming skills to develop test applications and fix test application SW bugs. write test codes and framework to test the SW modules. Also, to fix existing framework bugs.

  • Working in Qualcomm environment is a plus.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Experience working in a Linux environment, debugging, and troubleshooting.

  • Candidate will be working on challenging environment dealing with Automotive SW and HW features based on ARM Trust zone and various OSs like QNX(Blackberry),HGS(Greenhill), Linux.

  • Strong exposure of working in Automotive test environments

  • Strong analytical skills Very good communication skills

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Software Test Engineering or related work experience.

OR

Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Test Engineering or related work experience.

OR

PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Test Engineering or related work experience.

• 2+ years of work or academic experience with Software Test or System Test, developing and automating test plans and/or tools (e.g., Source Code Control Systems, Continuous Integration Tools, and Bug Tracking Tools).

  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.

  • Test Strategy and Execution: Develop comprehensive test strategies, test cases, and execute tests within the automotive domain to ensure product reliability and quality.
