Primary Responsibilities:
Manage a project and the team, assign tasks
Gather and analyze requirements from stakeholders
Design data architecture, including data models and schemas
Integrate data from various sources and systems
Implement data pipelines and ETL processes
Ensure data quality through validation and cleansing procedures
Optimize performance of data engineering systems
Collaborate with other teams, such as data science and analytics
Communicate project progress and risks to the business
Maintain documentation of processes, systems, and solutions
Continuously improve data engineering processes and technologies.
Develop back-end components to improve responsiveness and overall performance

Required Qualifications:
At least 8 years of relevant professional experience
Python (Pandas, NumPy, Pytest, PyUnit, Alchemy, SQL, ), Spark, Airflow, Azure Databricks CI/CD
Experience in leading teams
Experience in Python
Good knowledge of Data engineering solutions
Knowledge in Azure, Databricks, Spark
Expertise in at least few popular Python framework (like NumPy, SciPy, Pandas, Django, Flask, Pytest, PyUnit. Etc.
Knowledge creating and consuming the REST API’s
Proven good problem-solving skills
Ability to write effective, re-usable code and a scalable code
In-depth knowledge of performance tuning / optimizing data processing jobs, debugging time consuming jobs
Preferred Qualification:
- Microsoft Azure, (ADF, Azure Synopsis), GCP, Cloud Knowledge, Devops, Git
