IQVIA Assoc Manager Business Finance in Bangalore, India
Role Purpose:
This role will manage local statutory and UGAAP accounting and reporting. Managing accounting entries, documents, handing and recording accounting transactions, controls, and related compliances for IQVIA India entities.
He will be accountable for fixed management process which includes recording the cost of newly acquired fixed assets (both tangible and intangible), tracking existing fixed assets, recording depreciation, and accounting for the disposition of fixed assets.
Support statutory engagements (i.e. internal audits, year-end statuary audits)
To develop effective and robust internal control processes related to fixed assets that safeguard all financial assets, identify potential financial liabilities and risks, and maintain the reliability of all financial reporting.
Presentation and Financial Modelling Skills.
Stakeholder Management. Principal Accountabilities:
Manage and review fixed assets register on the core accounting system compliant with India GAAP in compliance with all local and IQVIA Corporate accounting requirements.
Perform financial close process covering monthly and YTD activities.
Prepare periodic reconciliation in Blackline to identify and manage risks.
Prepare the general ledger balance sheet accounts for the business and provide a schedule of risks to the Financial Controller for further action.
Support internal & external audits.
Prepare robust MIS related to fixed assets, inventory and lease schedules matters on monthly basis for review with Finance Controllership group. Keep documentation of all internal transactions
Effectively resolve and escalate issues, demonstrate a consistent timely track record of deliverables
Partner with co-workers to increase productivity by eliminating duplications and coordinating information requirements. Drive process improvement initiatives to reduce manual efforts.
Analyze and implement possible accounting solutions for discrepancies.
Annual operating plan and monthly forecasts through continuous review and analysis of financials, business operations and sales pipeline
Have a holistic view of operations and finances and impact on P&L through tracking of monthly financials, opportunities, financial metrics, variances against forecasts and projections.
Tracking financial performances and driving improvements and efficiency / optimization initiatives
Close coordination with global and local operations and finance teams
Minimum Education, Experience & Specialized Knowledge Required:
CA / CMA with 4 – 7 years’ relevant experience.
Experience in Big4 is an added advantage.
Industry preference – Healthcare / IT / IT’S sector and in a multinational company environment.
Familiarity with corporate finance, proven track record of success.
Prior working in SAP/People Soft/Oracle will be an added advantage.
