Job Title:

1D Systems Engineer with 5 years of experience in performing System Simulations using AMESIM (or similar tool) in the areas of Automotive and Aerospace applications.

Location:

Bangalore (or Pune)

As part of our continued growth and expansion, we are seeking a highly motivated Systems engineer to join our team in India to support customers using Siemens Systems Tools (Amesim and Flomaster)

Working under the supervision of a Team Leader, the successful applicant will work closely with customers to support their requirements. This will also involve preparation and delivery of presentations and demonstrations suited to new departments in existing customers. The duties associated with this position include understanding customer / prospect simulation requirements, resolving technical problems faced by customers, delivering appropriate presentations and demos that meet the need of the prospect. Excellent communication skills and a desire to work with clients are critical to success in this fast-paced and broad engineering role.

Qualified candidates should be self-motivated with customer centric background, with excellent presentation, time management and problem solving skills. The role is geared towards a candidate that appreciates diversity in workload, and the opportunity to learn and develop solutions and methodologies regardless of the industry sector. This position may require up to 25 percent travel

Qualifications:

Minimum requirements include:

  • MS/M.Tech Degree, or greater, in Mechanical, Chemical, Automotive or Aerospace Engineering with an emphasis on System Simulations.

  • In depth knowledge of thermal, mechanical system, hydraulic system, linear and lateral vehicle dynamics, multibody dynamics.

  • Knowledge of any modelling tools like AMESim/Flowmaster/Simscape/AMESim along with MATLAB/Simulink expertise is preferred.

  • Should have expertise on mechanical systems modelling, system performance analysis and validation.

  • Should have exposure on Control Modelling, Model troubleshooting and Requirement management.

  • Good knowledge of Automotive and Aerospace Applications with regards to functioning of various system.

  • Skilled in Programming/Analysis/Calculation with python & MATLAB

  • Knowledge of plant modelling Software-in-the-Loop (SIL), Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL)

  • Knowledge of balanced technologies (Batteries and Fuel Cells) is a bonus

  • Excellent writing, communication, interpersonal and presentation Skills.

  • Ability to conduct training classes involving participants of varying skill levels.

  • Good scripting skills in Python
