We are looking for Field Application Engineer for our custom IC Verification suite of products which are deployed across more than 400+ customers worldwide and growing exponentially.

What are we seeking-

As an Applications Engineer you will play a critical role in our Customer Success Organization enabling the success of our customers in designing advanced chips on innovative process technologies. You will provide technical and engineering insight and direction to improving usability, applicability, and adoption of Solido Products involving statistical analysis, Monte Carlo, cell optimization and design sensitivity for Custom analog or foundation IPs. You will have an opportunity to acquire both breadth and depth of technical knowledge, get wide exposure to the latest designs that customers are working on, and have the ability to influence at all levels, both internally and externally.

The position is based in Bangalore, India.

What does this role have for you!

• The Application Engineer role is a very multifaceted and high visibility role, and real ambassadors of the company as they work directly with customers (Design, Verification and CAD Engineers) to drive our simulation and verification technologies into design and verification flows.

• The role is not just limited to engage in deployment of siemens solutions for customers on their existing flows and methodologies but also to play an effective role in account planning, work with engineering teams to develop and engage in new product definition, feature or methodology development to suit customer needs.

• This includes understanding customer's challenges and technical requirements, conducting product demonstrations, running evaluations, and then finally deploying the solutions.

• In short, always be part of something new and exciting to work on! Work with marketing and product managers to build & define new products and provide insight from the field back to these groups.

Qualifications/Experience Required-

• BE/B.Tech in Electronics & Communications Engineering or Electrical & Electronics Engineering and proven experience of 6-8 years with IC schematic tools, such as Pyxis® or Virtuoso®

• Good understanding of Analog Design methodologies and flows including different types of analysis solutions for analog and mixed signal design along with Statistical analysis

• Exposure to Cadence Analog Design Environments ADE-L/XL/Assembler/Explorer or Synopsys Custom Compiler

• Hands on experience with SPICE simulators such as AFS, Spectre, HSPICE, Eldo and tools such as Symphony, Questa ADMS™, AMS Designer® or Solido Variation aware design tools 5-7 years of Analog Design experience would be an added advantage

• Working familiarity of Unix and Linux OS, and previous experience with scripting or C programming
