PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

Technical Services teams within SAPs Business Technology Platform works on creating amazing developer and customer experience by delivering easy to consume cloud native services and applications, that makes integration, extensibility, compliance, commercialization, and the operation of applications a non-issue and thus enabling SAPs customer and Partners to focus on creating business value.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

• Understand the concept of building multi-tenant reuse services running on SAP Business Technology Platform

• As an AI/ML Developer, you will be responsible for research, coding, testing, automation, deployment, quality assurance for microservices / applications which are being developed with best programming practices

• Transform raw unstructured data into data formats that are suitable for training models

• You will have to explore the latest NLP models and the latest python libraries that could better work with these models

• You will need to understand the containerization of microservices and their deployments into different runtimes like Kubernetes, Kyma, Cloud Foundry

• You will be required to work in a global scrum and agile engineering team and participate in design and architectural discussions with other engineers and architects

• Collaborate effectively with a team of enthusiastic developers and stakeholders to deliver the cloud solutions is necessary

• You need to take up full responsibility for accepted tasks and therefore demonstrate a high level of quality, speed, reliability and efficiency

• Enhance skills beyond own core development focus and works on other tasks for the benefit of the team

• Provide regular updates to Project Manager on project status

• Suggest solutions or improvements that can essentially enhance existing systems & processes

• Contribute to the related operations and CI/CD delivery concepts and explore on tools like Kubeflow, MLFlow

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/ SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

• University Degree (B.E or equivalent) in Computer Science / AI ML or related engineering subject

• 4-7 years of experience in AI,ML Software Engineering

• Experience of Machine Learning models and NLP techniques like BERT, Transformers

• Good knowledge on Python open-source software stack such as Django or Flask

• Knowledge of Python libraries like Pandas, Scikit-Learn, NumPy, spaCy is required

• Experience with any one of the Machine Learning libraries and services like PyTorch, TensorFlow or Amazon SageMaker

• Good understanding of cloud concepts and cloud technologies

• Good problem-solving skills and passionate about learning new Products & Technology

• Ability to work in highly agile team

• Good communication skills, team player and self-driven

Following additional skills would be an advantage:

• Knowledge on Go and or Javascript / Node.js languages

• Knowledge on Prompt Engineering and latest GenAI technologies

• Working knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD Delivery concepts and MLOps like Kubeflow, MLFlow
