Your Role and Responsibilities

• AEM Development: Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable, and efficient web applications using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) 6.5 and AEM Content as a Service (CaaS).

• Full Stack Development: Implement and maintain both front-end and back-end solutions, ensuring seamless integration with AEM.

• Custom Component Development: Create and customize AEM components, templates, and workflows to meet project requirements.

• System Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AEM with various third-party systems and technologies.

• Performance Optimization: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, ensuring optimal page load times and user experience.

• Code Quality: Maintain code quality standards, perform code reviews, and implement best practices in AEM development.

• Content Management: Manage digital content, assets, and configurations within AEM.

• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and troubleshoot issues, provide timely resolutions, and support ongoing maintenance.

• Documentation: Prepare technical documentation and participate in knowledge sharing within the team.

• Stay Current: Keep up-to-date with the latest AEM features, trends, and best practices.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Proven experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) development, including AEM 6.x and AEM as a Cloud Service.

• Strong proficiency in web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue.js).

• Experience delivering major web development projects from beginning to end utilizing java, AEM using Sightly

• At least 3+ years of software development experience in AEM including AEM Sites, Assets, and Workflows and AEM technologies: OSGi/Felix, Java Content Repository, Apache Sling, AEM Components, Content Fragments, Experience Fragments, DAM, Workflows

• Working experience with AEM building blocks including templates, components, dialogs, widgets, and bundles

• Experience with developing advanced custom AEM components using Java, React, REST, Maven, Eclipse, JSTL tags or sling API for brand new websites or major enhancements

• Understanding concepts of Servlets and JSP development, Oracle DB, SQL, Apache/Jboss, AJAX, jQuery

• Knowledge of Search engines, CDN, middleware integrations, Load Balancers

• Understanding of Agile Methodologies

• Solid understanding of back-end technologies, including Java and related frameworks (Spring, OSGi).

• Experience with RESTful APIs, third-party integrations, and microservices architecture.

• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.

• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Adobe AEM certification(s).

• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Instana, New Relic, AMS).

• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.

• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
