Roles and responsibilities:
Familiarize with the codes and standards.
Should be able to resolve the Stress calculation by themselves without any additional technical support
Review of engineering documents like calculations, specifications, philosophies, datasheets and drawings to ensure compliance with specification and functional integrity.
Provide technical directions and inputs to drafting personnel.
Carry-out single discipline checking of discipline documents / deliverables for the project.
Carry-out IDC for other discipline document / deliverables as per the approved IDC matrix.
Co-ordinate with other discipline / departments.
Attend Project review meetings and project co-ordination meetings..
Participate in technical review meetings (like piping 3D model review etc.)
Review of Vendor documents.
To implement QMS within the discipline.
To ensure Quality Control throughout the discipline, works with the Quality Management System and participate in regular quality audits.
Follow all applicable procedures and work instructions.
Keep continual improvement as a goal and apply Lessons Learnt on the past projects for better performance.
Review of piping specifications and data sheets.
Review of piping vendor drawings and final engineering deliverables.
Desired Skills:
Experience in CAESAR software for minimum of 10 yrs is mandatory.
Knowledge of AutoCAD Plant 3D is an added advantage.
Should be able to analyse both static and dynamic analysis using CAESAR software.
Should be able to analyse pipeline with ASME 31.4
Should be able to evaluate nozzle loads for equipment.
Should be able to drive the project individually without any external guidance.
Knowledge on FEA and PV Elite software are added advantage.
Should be able to work with surge analysis data.
