CareFirst Training Coordinator (Hybrid) in Baltimore, Maryland

Resp & Qualifications

PURPOSE:

Manages the coordination and administrative support of the Learning and Development Team's daily operations including, maintaining records, data reporting, providing administrative and technical assistance, and event planning.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Training and Event Logistics: Coordinates and manages all logistics for Learning and Development such as learning and development scheduling, event space scheduling/reservations, room set-up, materials production, shipping, invoice and PO processing.

  • LMS Administration: Acts as a LMS administrator. Performs tasks and activities for the Learning and Development team including data entry for LMS (e.g. inputs courses), facilitates and manages training enrollment, generates training reports, etc. Coordinates course testing for all e-Learning including mandatory training. Performs routine/ad hoc systems and updates testing. Provides systems training to future LMS administrators.

  • Administrative, Training and Technical Support: Provides administrative, training and first-level technical support including management of ODL inboxes, routing HR Connect OneStop requests, backup virtual learning producer for VILT sessions. Supports VP, Talent and ODL team.

  • Data Collection and Reporting: Supports the development of reporting metrics to measure training effectiveness across the organization. In conjunction with PM, gathers data for biweekly OD/L dashboard.

  • Communications Liaison: Acts as a communications liaison by coordinating communication timing with the Communications team for OD/L. Attends HR Comms call to provide feedback to OD/L stakeholders.

  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education Level: High School Diploma or GED.

Experience: 1 year experience in training administration/coordination.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years' experience in training administration/coordination, data collection and reporting, and technical support.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs)

  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

  • Ability to recognize, analyze, and solve a variety of problems.

  • Ability to analyze, organize, and prioritize work while meeting multiple deadlines.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

  • Excellent communications skills both written and verbal.

  • Must be able to meet established deadlines and handle multiple customer service demands from internal and external customers, within set expectations for service excellence. Must be able to effectively communicate and provide positive customer service to every internal and external customer, including customers who may be demanding or otherwise challenging.

Salary Range: $37,296 - $68,376
