Purpose of Role

• Team Sports is the lifeblood of the company, and this role is on the front lines of ensuring Brand

Growth. In this role, the ability to troubleshoot and build trust is critical. It is a very diverse role

that requires the individual to be extremely versatile, dealing with many different touchpoints on a

daily basis – from dealer road salespeople to athletic directors, coaches, equipment managers,

and athletes. The individual is responsible for driving the message to the aforementioned group

in and communicating in an effective way on a regular basis. This individual must be a selfstarter, willing to learn and adapt to the changing landscape and possess ability to prioritize what

is best for our brand and business relationships.

• The Under Armour Team Sales Representative is responsible for managing all phases of the

area’s business, inclusive of High School, Club, and small college businesses, specifically

focused on customers within the dedicated geographic territory,

• Focus on selling all revenue driving UA products – Apparel, Footwear, Accessories, Uniforms, and

other licensees.

• Create customized quarterly sales pitches to dealers and schools to ensure education on new

product and sales growth.

• Drive Top Line revenue by creating strong, lasting relationships with customer base, signing new

partnerships to increase market share, and managing existing key partnerships within the

Territory.

Your Impact

• Responsible for revenues between $5M and $15M annually

• Manage, maintain, grow customer relationships through constant engagement and effective

communication.

• Collaborate with teammates, and work cross-functionally within the organization to ensure

effective strategy execution.

• Responsible for driving revenue in all categories within their territory as specified.

Owns the account relationship from the owner through the road salesperson, down to

customer service…training each level on the expectations and strategy to sell UA.

Responsible for executing operational plans set forth by management, in order to deliver

projected revenue targets.

• Responsible for account planning, and goal setting for each account. Setting forth seasonal

plans, adhering to booking deadlines, and hitting set revenue targets.

• Challenges associated would encompass managing business relationships within the territory,

and making fair, fact-based decisions in the best interest of UA. Fierce competition within

market calls for constant effective communication, setting of expectations, and

• Works with Sr. Manager, Team Sales and Director, Team Sales to provide feedback and pulse

of business on a regular basis. Works cross-functionally with product and merchandising team

to ensure successful GTM process.

• Responsible for influencing customers externally to partner with the Brand, through detailed

presentations, thus driving sales.

• The role is responsible for training the dealer road salesperson to be an expert in selling Under

Armour, an extension of the Territory Manager, and a champion of the Brand in the field.

• The role is field based, coaching and training occurs more with the customer base to drive

sales, than it does with internal teammates.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

• Required Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree Preferred

• 2+ Years of Sales or Industry Experience

• Strong interpersonal skills, with effective communication methods.

• High Level skills w/Microsoft Office.

  • Travel:50% time – 50% frequent market travel required within given territory

Base Compensation

$67,389.00 - $92,660.70 USD

Most new hires fall within this range and have the opportunity to earn more over time. Initial placement within the salary range, however, is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills and experience for the position.
