Description We are offering a role within the local government sector located in BALTIMORE, Maryland. The position is for a Senior Data Entry Clerk who will be working in a hybrid schedule with a significant portion of duties being completed within the office. This role is a contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the management of a backlog, contributing to efficient and organized operations.

• Perform administrative duties which may include composing reports and handling office communication.

• Utilize skills in Excel Formulas, Data Entry, High-Volume Data Entry, and Computer Databases to perform tasks effectively.

• Ensure all data entered into computer databases is accurate, up-to-date and useable.

• Provide quality control of data, ensuring integrity of information entered into the system.

• Work in a high-volume data entry capacity, managing large amounts of information.

• Operate in a local government setting, adhering to all industry standards and protocols.

• Collaborate with team members and other departments as necessary to fulfill job duties.

• Contribute to the overall efficient operation of the department through diligent and responsible job performance. Requirements • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a data entry role or similar position.

• Proficiency in Excel formulas and other related software.

• Demonstrable experience in high-volume data entry.

• Familiarity with computer databases and how to use them effectively.

• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

• Excellent typing skills with a high level of speed and precision.

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Proven track record of reliability and a strong work ethic.

• Experience in a local government setting is preferred but not required.

• High school diploma or equivalent educational level.
