Aston Carter Shipping Administrator in Baltimore, Maryland

Job Title: Shipping AdministratorJob Description

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Shipping Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will handle various administrative duties, assist with incoming trucks and scale stations, and provide support in troubleshooting technical issues within the office.

Responsibilities

  • Work with incoming trucks and man the scale stations.

  • Perform administrative duties such as copying, scanning, answering phones, filing, answering emails, and data entry.

  • Assist with troubleshooting technical issues within the office.

  • Train new employees.

Essential Skills

  • 2 years of logistics administration experience.

  • Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Suite.

  • Experience in logistics, data entry, inventory management, and purchase orders.

  • Familiarity with invoicing, shipping, supply chain, and logistics administration.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with ERP systems (training will be provided).

Work Environment

The work hours are Monday to Friday, 7am-4pm or 7:30am-4:30pm. You will be required to work 1-2 Saturdays a month with the same schedule as weekdays. There is an opportunity for potential overtime during the winter season and a chance to transition to a permanent position.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
