Role: Delmock Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Database Administrator to support our Federal Client, the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) in meeting their overall mission to provide efficient, cost effective and reliable computing services for all IRS business entities and taxpayers. Responsibilities: Manages, optimizes, and secures databases in a Linux environment. Assists with system architecture design on PostgreSQL databases and Redis caches. Provides installation, configuration, and management of highly available (HA) PostgreSQL database running on either virtual machines or OpenShift container platform. Provides installation, configuration, and management of highly available (HA) Redis cluster running on either virtual machines or OpenShift container platform. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field. 5 years of experience with PostgreSQL (High Ability). Experience with Redis (High Ability). Preferred/Nice to Have Skills: OpenShift Container Platform. Clearance: Active IRS MBI (Minimum Background Investigation) Clearance is required.
