Our client, in consumer packaged goods industry is seeking a Sanitation Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will have manufacturing, production knowledge and communication skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Sanitation Manager

Location: Baltimore MD (Fells Point)

Pay Range: 70k - 90k

Onsite - Permanent position - Day Shift

What’s the Job?

• Sanitation Manager is legally obligated and responsible to ensure that they are following all Food Safety Guidelines, Good Manufacturing Practices, and Process Procedures to ensure a safe, quality product for our customers

• Directs and manages general sanitation activities of the plant.

• Plans and manages a master sanitation schedule in accordance with governmental, company and customer standards.

• Adheres to food safety standards developed by our Bakery

• Maintains safe working environment for all employees/contractors

What’s Needed?

• 3 or more years of experience working in plant/manufacturing sanitation. (Demonstrate knowledge of pest control and other requirements).

• High School diploma or equivalent, or a combination of experience & technical training. Completion of formal management skills training progran1 to include certification as required is preferred. (i.e. MD, AIB, etc.).

• Must have a general knowledge of how production machinery works.

• Must be physically capable of moving to all areas of the plant; including reaching, bending, stooping, climbing, pushing, and pulling as required in a production operation; lifting or maneuvering up to 60 pounds.

• Must be able to generate written and verbal communications clearly and distinctly

• Baking Industry experience a big plus!
