Johns Hopkins University Research Technologist in Baltimore, Maryland
We are seeking a Research Technologist to work under the general supervision of a faculty investigator or laboratory supervisor, is responsible for performing immunology experiments and bioinformatic analyses T and B cell cultures.
T & B Cell Cultures
PBMC isolation
Flow cytometry data acquisition and analysis
Analysis of immunological data from spatial and single-cell technologies
Analysis of immunological data from microscopy obtained images
Specific Duties and Responsibilities
Work requires basic use of scientific methods, procedures and techniques gained through previous training and experience in cell culture and bioinformatics.
Uses basic understanding of theory behind experiments and applies basic analytical skills to implement assigned projects, and to identify and trouble-shoot situations needing special attention.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Chemistry or related field.
Some related post-undergraduate work experience preferred.
