Description

We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity located in Baltimore, Maryland. We are seeking a Payroll Clerk who will be integral to maintaining and managing our payroll and financial transactions. This role involves a range of responsibilities, from processing payments to maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities:

• Handle and process payroll related data, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

• Utilize timekeeping systems and software to manage and monitor employee hours and attendance.

• Maintain detailed records of financial transactions in ledgers and automated systems.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for managing and analyzing financial data.

• Process payments and verify the accuracy of data.

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and other reports.

• Respond to and resolve customer inquiries and issues effectively.

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary.

• Ensure the accuracy of mathematical computations in financial documents.

• Use your accounts payable skills to manage and monitor accounts.

Requirements

• Applicant must have a minimum of 1 year experience in a payroll-related role.

• Demonstrable proficiency in payroll processing is a crucial requirement.

• Ability to handle financial transactions accurately and efficiently.

• Experience with timekeeping systems is a must.

• Familiarity with timekeeping software is essential.

• Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel for financial tasks is required.

• Ability to prepare and interpret financial statements is an important skill for this role.
