Erickson Living Medical Staff Services Office Coordinator in Baltimore, Maryland

Compensation: Commensurate with experience starting at $21.50 per hour

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Secures and maintains all medical staff services documentation, departmental reports and record systems compliant with Company policy and industry regulations.

  • MSS P Card Account - reconcile monthly before due date, upload expense receipts provided by team

  • Demonstrates an awareness of fiscal management in supply/equipment management.

  • Partner with Vice President of EHMG Operations, Medical Staff Services Director, and Marketing Team for marketing initiatives.

  • Collateral material development - at time of provider hire based on discipline, i.e. Physician, LCSW, NP, etc., - partner with Marketing Team to develop toolkit, update bio page, etc. Follow-up routinely until complete.

  • Facilitates all incoming mail/correspondence to ensure timely process and turnaround timeframe to include bad address, CLIA/Lab permits, payer credentialing, provider credentials notifications, etc.

  • Facilitates all Medical Center Health Fair events in partnership with Medical Staff Services, Corporate Marketing and Medical Centers.

  • Maintaining a working knowledge and competent use of computer/software systems sufficient to perform office functions as needed.

  • Performs office duties including: generating reports, faxing, filing, scanning, copying; e-mailing; and other clerical and analytical responsibilities.

  • Assists in the facilitation of orientation and training of new providers.

  • Participates in all medical staff services related meetings to include daily huddle, weekly department meeting, weekly corporate marketing call, weekly credentialing call(s).

  • Works with Department Manager to facilitate meetings, record minutes, facilitate feedback specific to action items in order to remain consistent with department standards to include provider credentialing, payer credentialing, medical center and provider marketing.

  • Recruitment Hotline back-up (to Recruiters) - manage/answer recruitment toll free hotline promptly and professionally

Education/Experience:

  • High school graduate or equivalent is required. Associate or higher degree a plus

  • Computer proficiency required.

  • Experience in medical staff office, healthcare or an environment serving the senior population is a plus.
