Robert Half Legal is recruiting for a Litigation Associate to work with a dynamic and established team in Baltimore City.

Associate Attorney

This person will sit in the firm’s business and commercial litigation department. Practice areas include complex commercial and business litigation, representation of hospitals and physician practice groups, as well as support in lobbying and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle complex commercial and business litigation cases, including construction litigation, asbestos litigation, shareholder and joint venture disputes, contract breaches, insurance coverage disputes, business torts, and board of contract appeals.

• Provide representation for hospitals and physician practice groups with a focus on healthcare law and regulations, including healthcare provider representation in various licensing and disciplinary board matters, and medical provider credential assistance.

• Support lobbying and regulatory compliance efforts by conducting research, writing, and answering discovery, while assisting with legislative matters before the Maryland General Assembly.

  Requirements

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum of two years of litigation experience (plaintiff or defense)

• Strong research and writing skills

-MD bar

• Knowledge of healthcare law and regulations is a plus

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work independently

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
