Robert Half IT Business Analyst in Baltimore, Maryland

Description

We are searching for a skilled IT Business Analyst in the Healthcare, Hospitals, and Social Assistance industry to become part of our team. The client is based in Baltimore, MD and offers a remote short-term contract employment opportunity. As an IT Business Analyst, you will be tasked with assisting in the development of applications and build sets, working with functional leadership, and creating forms for cross-functional departments.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the enhancement of Standard Operating Procedures for applications and build sets

• Work closely with functional leaders in IT, HR, and Finance departments to streamline processes

• Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements for onboarding and form development

• Independently create and maintain workflow diagrams to improve process efficiency

• Develop a robust communication strategy to keep stakeholders informed at each step of the project

• Gather and document business requirements to ensure user setups are correct

• Proactively address and resolve any issues related to application and hardware builds

• Facilitate stakeholder meetings to ensure handoffs are clean and within the desired timeframe.

Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an IT Business Analyst role, preferably within the Healthcare, Hospitals, or Social Assistance industry.

• Proficient in creating and managing Business Requirement Documents.

• Proven track record of effective stakeholder communications, engagement, and conducting stakeholder meetings.

• Familiarity with the development and implementation of Department Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's).

• Experience in conducting Requirements Gathering Sessions and translating these into functional specifications.

• Demonstrated ability in gathering requirements from various sources and stakeholders.

• Ability to create, interpret, and manage workflow diagrams.

• Strong understanding of workflow processes, with the capability to identify areas of improvement.

• Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.

• Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team as well as independently.

• Must possess a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
