Johns Hopkins University DRPH Administrative Coordinator in Baltimore, Maryland
The Department of Academic Affairs is seeking a DR PH Administrative Coordinator . The Doctorate in Public Health (DrPH) Administrative Coordinator provides key administrative support for many aspects of the schoolwide DrPH Program. This includes development and maintenance of program media sites, scheduling for program committees and other stakeholders, drafting a variety of program communications, and event planning. The DrPH Administrative Coordinator will work closely with the DrPH Program Office team, as well as highly accomplished prospective and current students, world-class faculty, and talented staff across the Bloomberg School of Public Health. This position requires a tech savvy professional who can communicate with tact and skill in a fast-paced, high-volume program.
Specific Duties & Responsibilities
Develops and updates DrPH website, including coordinating student and concentration video testimonials. Updates DrPH program segments in the university catalog.
Creates and maintains social media presence (LinkedIn & Facebook). Creates and maintains student directory.
Gathers material for and drafts quarterly program newsletter.
Provides primary support for the DrPH General email account.
Schedules meetings of DrPH Executive Committee, Student Matters Subcommittee, Comprehensive Exam Subcommittee, Admissions Subcommittee, and other program-specific meetings, including creating/monitoring doodle polls, emailing calendar invites, creating Zoom meeting sessions, recording meeting minutes, ordering catering, and reserving meeting rooms.
Provides support for DrPH events including orientation, webinars, admitted student visitor days, advisor briefings, seminars and open houses.
Tracks and monitors student scholarship awards. Coordinates payment with departments/centers/etc.; notifies students of awards and enters award information in DGA in SIS.
Develops knowledge of School academic and administrative policies and procedures.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Special Knowledge Skills & Abilities
Highly organized self-starter with strong attention to detail.
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and creatively both orally and in writing with a varied constituency including, faculty, staff, and students.
High level of proficiency with social media and website design. Demonstrated customer service orientation.
Proficiency in computer applications such as MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word and Power Point), Zoom, SharePoint, Adobe (Acrobat), and web content management systems; can quickly and easily learn new software applications.
Skills in time management and managing multiple projects.
Curiosity to develop knowledge of academic issues in higher education and online academic programs. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a diverse workforce.
Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or graduation equivalent.
Three years related experience.
Additional education may substitute for required experience, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.

Starting Salary Range: $18.20 - $33.90 HRLY ($48,000 targeted; Commensurate with experience)
