Your Role:
- Measure distances and materials.
- Cut, shape, and smooth materials using power tools.
- Ensure safety compliance.
- Erect ladders and scaffolding
- Work with wood, fiberglass, steel, and concrete.
- Read and interpret building plans.
- Follow safety guidelines at all times.
- Build shoots and concrete forms for large projects.
Physical Requirements:
- Perform physical tasks (climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping).
- Wear protective gear (safety shoes, glasses, gloves, etc.).
- Work in various weather conditions.
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of carpentry experience.
- Own basic carpentry tools.
- Ability to travel to job sites.
- Lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds.
- Experience with historic properties is a plus.
