Job Title: Animal Care Technician

Job Description

As an Animal Care Technician, you will place processed bedding, feed, and other related items into assembled, sanitized cages. You will maintain detailed records of maintenance schedules, detergent and disinfectant use, and performance tests for cage washers and autoclaves. Your daily responsibilities will include performing animal health observations, animal husbandry duties to maintain the quality and health of research animals. This includes performing daily water bottle/automatic water line and cage checks, providing appropriate food and water, and performing cage changing and/or cage cleaning as required per SOP and/or specified protocols.

• Must have experience with animals in a professional setting

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Baltimore, Maryland.

Work Environment

Animal Research Lab - Oncology

Monday-Friday

1st shift 8am-4:30pm
