Aston Carter Account Coordinator in Ballwin, Missouri

Job Title: Account CoordinatorJob Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Account Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing customer orders, resolving discrepancies, maintaining customer profiles, and ensuring compliance with industry measures. The role also involves assisting with accounts receivable tasks and collaborating with various internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Enter and manage customer orders to ensure execution of business plans

  • Confirm, validate, and resolve customer pricing, product, and promotion discrepancies

  • Maintain customer profile information to ensure accurate order fulfillment

  • Monitor Vendor Scorecards for Key Accounts and take corrective action as necessary to ensure compliance with customer expectations

  • Implement best practices throughout the order life cycle to prevent invoice deductions and other process inefficiencies

  • Coordinate product disposition through returns, transfers of stock, sale of non-stock items, etc.

  • Identify selling opportunities through product knowledge, understanding customer needs, and presenting alternative recommendations to customers

  • Collaborate with Sales to facilitate product field tests, account status reports, and product line updates

  • Communicate received quality complaints to appropriate parties and coordinate replacements

  • Assist accounting, Trade Management, and customers with billing questions, deduction questions, and other billing problems

  • Work with customers and internal personnel to ensure system data for customer accounts is kept up to date

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • College degree is preferred, but strong customer care or industry experience is also considered

  • Experience working in ERP systems is a plus (Oracle experience preferred)

  • Detail-oriented with data entry experience

  • Computer literate

Work Environment

The role is set in an office environment utilizing the phone and computer frequently, requiring minimal physical effort. No travel is required. The position operates Monday to Friday during first shift hours with some flexibility. Initially, the role requires on-site presence during training, but thereafter offers the availability to work one day from home per week. The environment is fast-paced with heavy volumes, but tasks do not expose employees to physically unpleasant or hazardous conditions.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $55000.00 - $70000.00/yr.
