Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Sales Analyst in the distribution industry, located in Clifton Park NY, United States. The Sales Analyst will be a key player in the sales team, working on various projects such as analysis, meeting preparations, presentations, and more. This role also involves interacting with vendors and customers, ensuring effective communication and support.

Responsibilities:

Customer Service

o Ability to manage and respond to a large volume of emails. Provide customers with an outstanding experience by professionally responding to their communications effectively and in a timely manner.

o Process and provide timely order confirmation on all processed purchase orders.

o Maintain outstanding communication and people skills with new and existing customers and Sales team.

o Effectively solve problems with the ability to find the best solution for the manufacturer and the customer.

o Consistently meet or exceed company expectations for productivity and accuracy levels.

o Maintain an excellent attendance and punctuality record.

o Must be available to back up team members and keep a positive, supportive attitude towards the Company, job, customers, and co-workers.

o Additional responsibilities as assigned.

Sales Support

o Organization and creation of sales materials: sell sheets, presentations, etc.

o Coordinate and assist in preparation of external sales meetings, customer presentations, business reviews, etc.

o Process and track vendor orders

o Process Sub-Jobbers orders to Re-Distributors

o Follow up the order shipped complete.

o Schedule appointment for deliveries

o Assist in implementing promotions with vendors, rack programs, secondary placement etc.

Requirements

• Possess a minimum of one year of experience in a Sales Support role or similar position

• Experience in using CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems needed

• Knowledge of MS Excel including utilizing pivot tables

• Familiarity with Data Mining Techniques is essential

• Strong Communication skills are needed
