Artwork Coordinator

This role is remote, based anywhere near our productions sites : Ballaigues, Munich, Bensheim, Monldal, Venlo. The chosen candidate must be eligible to work in the selected country.

Reporting to the Global Product Manager, Dentsply Sustainability Initiatives, the Artwork Coordinator supports sustaining activities and multi-brand programs, upholding production standards for packaging graphics as a key contributor to the Sustainable Packaging Team.

This is a high-visibility role providing access and engagement across all Dentsply Sirona global business units as well as to the global management committee. The successful candidate will be a team player who can expertly navigate through the Dentsply matrix, understand the needs of key constituencies, represent customer needs and strike a balance that best delivers on our goals –both from a sustainability and a fiscal perspective.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the implementation of the sustainable packaging artwork guidelines across Dentsply Sirona.

  • Establish the artworks following the specifications from Brand guidelines, R&D and pack engineer of all packaging items impacted by the sustainable packaging project (folding carton, labels, DFUs, corrugated boxes, film, bag…)

  • Drive consistency and standard work across brands and product management teams

  • After deep dive analysis and with the input of the GBU teams, suggest and implement optimization of current packaging management processes to unblock bottle-necks and enable reaching market faster.

  • Liaise with procurement and site buying teams to distribute new artwork files to respective printing suppliers.

  • Work collaboratively with the entire external and internalpackaging, artwork and graphics production team, seeking or providing support when appropriate.

  • Being agile, flexible and creative in how to manage complexity at large scale and still meeting design guidelines and brand standards.

  • Communicate effectively across departments to keep all stakeholders informed and aligned, fostering trust and confidence.

  • Thrive in a highly collaborative environment with a steady influx of projects.

  • Set-up and utilize efficient artwork development processes to apply new branding guidelines to high numbers of packaging artwork files.

  • Maintain meticulous design integrity within documents, processes, and artwork.

  • Support multiple projects concurrently, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines in a time-sensitive environment.

  • Address and resolve any artwork-related issues in a timely manner.

Requirements and Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Product Marketing, Brand Management or a related field.

  • Some experience in a similar role.

  • Expert level skills in Adobe InDesign, proficiency in Illustrator and Photoshop.

  • Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project Management.

  • Knowledge of print production processes and how to optimize processes with various printing presses.

  • Challenges the status quo when it comes to print color management and how print colors can be optimized.

  • Strong organizational and project management skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines.

  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.

  • Experience working with procurement and buying teams is a plus.

  • Project management certification or training.

  • Strong analytical, administrative and organizational skills and great attention to detail
