Reference #: onZcufwM_e302ac807c Description Job Responsibilities: * Provides full conceptualelectricalestimating from minimal information, such as Architectural drawings and/or narratives for large commercial construction projects * Ability to understand electrical systemsfrom plans/narratives as well as verbal communication * Ability to create detailed electrical bid packages for proposal purposes * Prepares and reviews quantity take-offs on projects. * Develops relationships with sub-contractors, and identifies new material suppliers and subcontractors * Originates and maintains current subcontractor and material supplier solicitation lists. * Coordinates bids; obtains and analyzes bids on projects from subcontractors and material vendors. * Prepares and reviews accurate pricing of estimates, including labor, material and subcontract items. * Attends client meetings to present andexplain budgets and estimates.
Qualifications: * Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field, or equivalent work experience. * Minimum15+ years estimating experience for large commercial construction projects * Healthcare industry experience strongly preferred * Excellent computer skills, specifically AccuBid, on-screen takeoff, Excel, Bluebeam * Excellent math, budgeting, purchasing, organization, and interpersonal skills.
