Overview

Dignity Health Medical Group - Bakersfield (http://dhmf.org/bakersfield) is seeking an General Urologist Physician to join our physician led, patient centered practice in Bakersfield, CA. We are affiliated with Bakersfield Memorial Hospital (http://bakersfieldmemorial.org/) and Mercy Hospitals (http://dignityhealth.org/mercy-bakersfield) and aligned with one of the largest health systems in the nation and the largest hospital system in California.

Practice Highlights:

Compensation/Benefits Include:

  • Student loan assistance

  • Excellent earning potential supported by a salary guarantee period of $400,000 - $475,000/year

Responsibilities

  • Patient Care : Diagnose and treat medical conditions; develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.

  • Procedures: Perform surgical and non-surgical procedures; provide pre-operative and post-operative care for patients.

  • Communication : Effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare teams; foster a collaborative approach.

  • Documentation : Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with coding and billing regulations.

  • Team Collaboration : Work with healthcare professionals and participate in interdisciplinary meetings.

  • Quality Improvement : Engage in quality assurance initiatives and analyze clinical outcomes for improvement.

  • Compliance : Adhere to ethical standards and stay informed about healthcare regulations.

  • Continuous Learning : Stay updated on medical advancements and participate in ongoing education and training.

Qualifications

  • A valid and unrestricted California medical license

  • Board eligible or board certified in specified area of medical specialty (ABMS or AOA)

  • Completion of an accredited post-graduate training program

  • This is also an H1B visa opportunity, requiring candidates who are cap exempt.

Pay Range

$192.00 - $228.00 /hour
