Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide support to medical professionals in a clinical setting, ensuring efficient patient care and satisfaction.
Responsibilities: - Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures. - Perform medical administrative tasks such as patient intake, scheduling appointments, and maintaining medical records. - Administer medications under the direction of a physician. - Conduct basic laboratory tests and record results. - Take and record vital signs accurately. - Provide patient education on medication administration and inhalation techniques. - Ensure compliance with infection control policies and procedures. - Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Skills: - Proficiency in medical terminology and coding. - Knowledge of basic life support techniques. - Familiarity with physiology and anatomy. - Strong attention to detail in recording patient information. - Experience working in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred.
