Green Thumb Environmental Beautification Maintenance in Bainbridge, New York
Senior Employment Program. Beautification and general cleaning duties around the grounds/historic sites. Paint/stain stand-alone objects (benches, signs, containers, tables). Assist with minor repairs (and report any supplies needed for interior and exterior maintainer of buildings along with custodial projects. Emptying trash cans throughout the park, bagging ice, picking up litter, and mowing lawns will be expected, as well as emptying charcoal grill, firepits, and cleaning rental showers. Other duties include staffing the Nature Center, helping with arts and crafts, and working in the ticket booth (signing in vehicles and providing directions). Candidate may also sort and inventory various items and report any vandalism: Green Thumbers may not take any kind of action, report to supervisor. Green Thumbers may work within their written limitations.
