Reporting directly to the Chief People & Transformation Officer with a dotted line to the CEO, The Chief of Staff is responsible for enhancing the effectiveness and productivity of Quadient CEO’s office by providing strategic, facilitative and operational support.

The Chief of Staff will partner closely with the CEO daily on strategic initiatives and manage the execution of projects and tasks across all facets of business strategy and operations, including day‐to‐day management, stakeholder engagement, strategic initiatives, board engagement and oversight of deadlines. This position requires a strategic mindset, excellent communication and project management skills with a strong bias towards proactive delivery.

This senior-leadership level role will drive a strong, cross-departmental culture of accountability, help shape and manage the agenda of Quadient's C-suite leadership meetings, and lead thinking on the systems and checkpoints required to maintain and track strong performance throughout our organization.

What you'll do:

• Support the CEO to achieve company and business-unit-specific operating goals, working with the executive team to understand potential gaps, define plan to address them, and ensure success

• Work directly with the CEO and other executive leadership to define and manage key company- wide priorities, including but not limited to strategic planning, financial processes and operational reviews

• Prepare and manage the meetings of the Company’s Executive Committee, Investment Committee and Board of Directors. Follow up as needed to ensure timely decision-making and implementation of initiatives.

Key Accountabilities

• Develop, structure and constantly improve the company's governance and internal processes -- ensuring the right topics are surfaced, at the right times, facilitating effective discussion and documenting / managing follow-up on action items

• Support the communications from the Chief Executive Officer, internally and externally

• Perform complex ad-hoc analyses and presenting recommendations to the CEO, CTO and/or wider management.

• Periodically lead one-off projects on key strategic topics as they emerge

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

• English and French Fluent is mandatory

• BA/BS or Engineering/Math degree or equivalent experience required; MBA strongly preferred

• 3-10 years of relevant experience, preferably in Operations, M&A and/or with top tier consulting firm with finance focus

• Must have strong reasoning and analytical thinking

• Demonstrated experience establishing and improving processes related to operations

• Demonstrated excellence guiding high-performing executives / teams of executives in working together to achieve company and/or business unit goals

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; previous experience with board & executive communications is a plus

• Excellent project management skills

• Strong influencing skills as well as ability to communicate directly to drive accountability where required

• Agility to multitask and prioritize in a rapidly changing environment in the face of many competing priorities

• Significant entrepreneurial drive and willingness to roll up sleeves to directly solve challenging problems where required

• Strong team spirit

• Organized and meticulous.
