About the Role:

As a Shelter Case Manager you will play a critical role in providing support and assistance to individuals and families experiencing homelessness. You will be responsible for managing a caseload of clients, assessing their needs, and developing and implementing individualized service plans to help them achieve their goals. Your work will directly contribute to our mission of ending homelessness and improving the lives of those we serve.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or a related field

  • Experience working with individuals experiencing homelessness or in a related field

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in social work, psychology, or a related field

  • Experience working with diverse populations

  • Knowledge of local resources and services for individuals experiencing homelessness

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of clients experiencing homelessness, providing support and assistance to help them achieve their goals

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' needs and develop individualized service plans

  • Collaborate with community partners to connect clients with resources and services

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation

  • Participate in regular team meetings and trainings to enhance your skills and knowledge

Skills:

As a Shelter Case Manager, you will use your strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with clients and community partners. Your organizational and time management skills will be essential in managing a caseload of clients and maintaining accurate records. You will also use your knowledge of local resources and services to connect clients with the support they need. Bilingual skills in English and Spanish are preferred but not required. Overall, your work will directly contribute to our mission of ending homelessness and improving the lives of those we serve.
