Helpdesk Support Specialist - HELPD001282-00001
DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsibilities: * Primary point of contact for in-office and remote user support via tickets, calls, and emails. * Triage and troubleshoot issues with software, laptops, printers, etc. * Dispatch and follow-up on previous tickets to ensure satisfaction and improve support process. * Manage users and groups via Active Directory and Microsoft 365 / Entra ID. * Use Microsoft Intune for device deployment and management, software installation and updates, and Windows Updates * Configure workstations for users, install software, migrate data, etc. * Apply Windows Updates, software updates, device drivers, and firmware updates. * Assist Systems Administration team with Intune deployment for device and software management. * Assist in the creation of end-user training. * Replace and re-order toner for printers. * Assist all IT staff with other issues as needed. * Support Lean culture, standard work, and constant improvement in IT.
Qualifications: * 1 year of related experience or a degree in Computer Science or related technical area such as teaching, medical, or nursing.
Other Useful Skills and Abilities: * Excellent customer service skills coupled with effective call handling and problem management expertise. * Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and listening) are essential as is the ability to quickly learn. * Strong problem solving and analytical skills to establish facts and detect malfunctions, interpret error messages, and determine probable causes * Ability to follow processes and suggest improvements * Ability to work both as part of a team and independently * Experience with Windows 10/11. * Experience with iOS or Android devices * Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) or Office 365.
