The position will have dual accountability. Inventory accuracy and management deliverables will serve the procurement/accounting teams. Primary Duties: Forecasting parts inventory needs and ordering parts inventory to maintain optimal levels. Monitoring inventory levels, analyzing demand patterns and implementing inventory management strategies to manage stock levels and avoid shortages or excesses Maintains knowledge of trends, prices, buyers, and delivery conditions to anticipate future material availability. Identifying new domestic vendors for directs purchasing programs. Become proficient with the use of our inventory management process and system Develops and maintains inventory databases. Drive corrective action for inventory discrepancy resolution. Refining analytics, streamlining efficiency, and enforcing discipline. Create Daily, Weekly, and Monthly Business reports; key focus areas include Budget & Forecast, On-Time Order Fulfillment and Inventory Tracking. Position Requirements: Minimum High School or equivalent degree. Associates degree or technical certifications preferred. Two to four years work experience demonstrating strong performance, reliability, and desire to learn. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Sound planning, organizing, and execution skills. Computer savvy, comfortable in MS Word and Excel with the ability to learn other programs.
