JOB DESCRIPTION:

Position Title: Key Account Manager (KAM) 1-3 -- Navistar

Reports To: Director OE Sales -- Navistar

Position Summary:

This position is responsible for implementing strategic customer account initiatives as well as leading the interface with the Purchasing, Engineering, Product Planning, and Operations Groups to drive business results in line with those of the company. This position is a customer-based position and must be domiciled near Lisle, Illinois or Avon, Ohio.

Essential Functions:

Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential contacts at Navistar in purchasing, engineering, product planning, marketing, and operations teams. Understand their requirements, address inquiries, and provide appropriate solutions to meet their needs. Ensure customer satisfaction by providing exceptional service throughout the sales process.

Provide the Voice of the Customer within Bendix and adequately represent Bendix to the Customer.

Provide support to Customer Sales and Marketing events on behalf of Bendix for the Truck Brand.

Participation in the development of customer strategies for North America based on interaction with Bendix CoC (Center of Competency) Directors and the Global Account Team.Collaborate with global TRATON sales account team. Identify region driving customer strategy (by product, application etc.) and align to global strategy. Develop sales strategies that consider both regional and global impact.

Support the coordination and introduction of new Bendix Technologies via alignment of Product Plans and Technology Roadmaps.

Participation in creation of budget dollars assigned to customer marketing, visits, etc by working and coordinating with the marketing team and the finance team.
