Firmware Engineer - Avon, OH - Hybrid (2 days WFH)

We are hiring a Firmware Engineer to support development for a variety of industries! This is a small company feel offering the opportunity to work on a large range of projects.

Job Responsibilities:

• Full cycle Embedded Software development including all of the following: software specification, software design, embedded coding and development, software testing, software documentation.

• Design, code, and test embedded systems

• Embedded development / coding in C/C++ language (mostly C, some C++)

• Partner with internal Engineering team on a variety of different projects with customers in a wide range of industries

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, or a similar field

• 5+ years of professional embedded C/C++ development experience on ARM microcontrollers

• Must have embedded RTOS experience with any of the following: FreeRTOS, ThreadX, Zephyr, QNX/Neutrino, VxWorks, Integrity (Green Hills), MQX,TI-RTOS, SEGGER embOS

• Experience working with communication protocols

• Device driver development

Plus:

• Wireless communication protocols (Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, ZigBee)

• Experience workings as an Embedded Engineer in a regulated environment (aerospace, medical device, pharma, automotive, government, etc.)
