Description

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Web Developer. The selected candidate will be working remotely and will be an integral part of our team, developing and maintaining our enterprise-level software systems. This role is particularly suited to individuals with a strong background in Laravel, Vue.js, PHP 8.2, Podman, Docker, and MariaDB.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable, and reliable enterprise-level software systems from scratch.

• Implement DevOps best practices to automate infrastructure management and deployment processes.

• Use Laravel, Vue.js, and PHP 8.2 to develop efficient performance of both front-end and back-end functionalities of the software systems.

• Use Podman and Docker for containerization of software systems and their dependencies.

• Work with MariaDB to design and implement database schema and queries.

• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for timely delivery of features and functionality.

• Collaborate with the team to identify and resolve software issues and bugs.

• Continuously improve the performance, reliability, and scalability of the software systems.

• Ensure adherence to security and compliance best practices to protect against cyber threats.

• Write and maintain scripts using PHP, JavaScript, and Bash to automate tasks and improve DevOps processes..

Requirements • Proficient in Backend Development and Client Side Scripting

• Familiarity with Bug Tracking and Content Management Systems (CMS)

• Knowledge of Database management and AB Testing

• Proficiency in Ajax, CSS, and Design principles

• Experience with Frameworks, particularly Laravel

• Expertise in PHP and LAMP stack

• Experience in API Development

• Familiarity with Docker and Vue.js

• Proficiency in LAMP and other relevant technologies

• Ability to deliver high-quality work while meeting deadlines

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work effectively in a team as well as independently

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
