Our Quality and Mission Assurance team enables our programs and functions to deliver exceptional products and services that not just meet but exceed our customer’s expectations. This includes performing audit and assurance activities, supporting process improvements, approving suppliers, managing risk and facilitating best practice across the organisation. They also manage our Quality Management System which provides the framework required to comply with the company’s regulatory, contractual and legislative obligations.

Your Role

As Engineering Quality Manager you will be:

  • Responsible for the performance of regular surveillance audits across the enterprise, covering DASR Part 21J and M regulations.

  • Oversee the maturation of the Engineering Management System across all Aviation programs with a focus on delivering best practice, compliance and business objectives.

  • Performs and/or coordinates quality audit, surveillance and monitoring of the EMS

  • Schedules and oversees assurance activities, systematically managing risk and facilitate training and investigations as required.

About You

  • Diploma of quality or equivalent/higher for Quality Management Systems issued by an Australian Registered Training Organisation.

  • Aviation based qualifications in an engineering and/or maintenance environment, with a minimum of 5 years working in an aviation quality role, with experience working under DASR, CASA, EMAR, EASA or other NAAs acceptable to DASA.

  • Experience carrying out maintenance incidence investigations, processing occurrence reports, audit reports and findings as part of a quality system.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders across the business.
