Job Title: Quality Inspector

Job Description

As a Quality Inspector, you will play a crucial role in our warehouse operations by ensuring that all parts and orders meet FAA standards and requirements. This position involves handling shipping and receiving tasks, conducting visual inspections, processing paperwork, and packaging items. The role requires attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality in a low-volume, high-detail environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct visual inspections to check for damages.

• Process paperwork and ensure compliance with FAA standards.

• Box and package items after quality inspection.

• Inspect everything coming from receiving and before shipping out.

• Handle both incoming and outgoing inspections, including all paperwork.

• Work closely with a small team in an intimate warehouse setting.

Essential Skills

• Attention to detail.

• Ability to learn and follow repetitive tasks.

• Basic knowledge of Word and Excel.

• Ability to lift 50 lbs.

• Quality control and quality assurance experience.

• Experience with shipping and receiving.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with visual inspection for damages.

• Familiarity with using a Salesforce-based program for inventory and paperwork.

• Prior experience in quality control is a plus.

Work Environment

The candidate will work in a climate-controlled warehouse in Austin, Texas. The position is full-time, Monday to Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM, with a one-hour lunch break.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Austin, Texas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
