UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS AT AUSTIN VAN Case Manager in Austin, Texas
Provide short- term case management for UT staff, faculty, students and visitors to campus that have been impacted by a crime or a distressing event. This includes follow up interviews, interview accompaniment, safety planning, coordination with campus partners and information about the criminal justice process.Serve VAN advocate role, including shared on-call availability for response on scene on UT campus to victims of crime and distressing events. This includes working football games and other special events.Supports VAN volunteer advocates with debriefing and processing their VAN responses.Assists Program Manager with record keeping, data collection, and administrative duties. Ensures call program is routed daily to ensure VAN operation is maintained.Attends and assists with presentations and VAN promotion at training events, campus meetings, and events as needed.Conducts clinical supervision of Social Work interns in coordination with their Social Work field.
