Job Title: Distribution Field Technician

Job Description

We are currently sourcing for Distribution Field Technicians to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for staking projects, collecting pole data, and presenting this data to the design team. Candidates with experience in distribution fielding, particularly those with a clear understanding of AutoCAD, are encouraged to apply. Additionally, designers with relevant experience are also welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Stake projects and collect pole data.

  • Present collected field data to the design team.

  • Work within AutoCAD software to support design processes.

  • Learn and apply design processes as needed.

Essential Skills

  • Minimum of 1 year of distribution fielding experience.

  • Experience in staking, locating, or lineman work.

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD.

  • Ability to collect field data accurately.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in distribution design.

  • Familiarity with power distribution.

  • Knowledge of MicroStation and Maximo.

  • Experience in engineering, particularly electrical design.

  • Field inspection experience.

  • Understanding of utility distribution and field engineering.

  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new design processes.

Work Environment

This role involves both office work and fieldwork. You will be required to collect pole data in the field and then work at home. The position offers benefits such as weekly pay, medical, dental, vision insurance, Paid Time Off (PTO) and holiday leave.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
