Provides support and oversight to the Media Communications and Marketing staff through the development, management, and evaluation of a broad range of procurement and contracting needs, including utilization of agency procurement card. Responsibilities include contract management services for Memorandum of Agreements (MOAs). Serves as the liaison between Division Budget Coordinator, central Purchasing and Contracting branch, and program staff. Works under general supervision, with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. Performs additional duties as assigned. Complies with all Agency, Division and Branch rules, regulations and procedures. Qualifications: MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Graduation from High School or GED. Experience: Two years experience providing procurement and contract support; Experience in the procurement of goods and services; Experience in solicitation and specification writing or development. Licensure/Certifications: Applicant must possess a valid State drivers license; Must possess or be able to complete, within three months of employment,the State of Texas Basic Publishing Purchasing training; Must possess or be able to obtain, within one year of employment, a Certified Texas Contract Developer (CTCD).
