YOUR FUTURE TEAM As part of TCEQ Administrative Services, you would help support the logistical and operational structure for TCEQ statewide -- the business foundation for the whole agency. See details about what we do. This position is a member of our Information Resources Division. KEY QUALIFICATIONS Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), Certified Project; Management Professional (PMP). Experience creating the following BA documents: system/software requirements document, use cases, test plans or scenarios, diagrams (as-is, workflow, state, or context), traceability matrices, report specifications, work breakdown structure, risk register, data migration plan. Experience with Legislative bill analysis, and/or as a Bill Coordinator. Experience creating the following PM documents: Charter, status reports, lessons learned, contract, business case, project plan, or schedule. HERES WHAT YOULL BE DOING... Elicit and document business needs and requirements for new systems and enhancements to existing systems; conduct peer reviews of requirements and statement of works for high priority IT projects. Perform complex analysis and coordinate legislative responses as they relate to Information Technology resources planning. Monitor project artifacts (requirements documents, design documents, code, test plans/scenarios and data migration plans) according to documented change management processes. Identify potential project risks and difficulties, and design strategies to mitigate or avoid them. Provide oversight of projects, assignments, and quality assurance; work on special initiatives and special projects as assigned. Lead and/or participate in developing actions plans for projects or programs to follow established policies and/or processes. Qualifications: EDUCATION EXPERIENCE Certification of Competency in Business Analysis (CCBA) plus two (2) years of full-time experience in business process analysis and/or modeling, application development or system and application design; or overseeing, coordinating, and/or conducting Information Technology projects. OR Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP). OR Six (6) years of full-time experience in business process analysis and/or modeling, application development or system and application design; or overseeing, coordinating, and/or conducting Information Technology projects. OR A master's degree from an accredited college or university, with a major in public administration, business administration, environmental studies, planning, computer science, computer information systems, or a related field plus three (3) years of the required experience. OR A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in public administration, business administration, environmental studies, planning, computer science, computer information systems, management information systems, or a related field plus four (4) years of the required experience. OR A bachelors degree from an accredited college or university plus five (5) years of the required experience. OR Completion of 18 semester hours (27 quarter hours) in public administration, business administration, environmental studies, planning, compu er science, computer information systems, or a related field plus five (5) years of the required experience.
