Advise students through the process of marketing, administration and logistics forprograms and events including but not limited to contracting outside vendors, facilities and food service management and distribution of publications; meet weekly with student leaders to advise and monitor event progress.Oversee at least 4 student committees within the University Unions programming board (Campus Events + Entertainment).Actively participate as a member of the Campus Events + Entertainment advising team; collaborate on developing new strategic directions for the departments student programs and initiatives.Provide fiscal advisement to students; monitor expenditures and commit university funds on behalf of department and student groups.Assist with recruitment and retention of student volunteers and develop training and assessment for student leadership.Evaluate and assess appropriate risk management policies and issues of campus safety for student programs and events.Other related functions as assigned.
