Staff Site Reliability Engineer

to
Provide support to critical applications, ensuring it meets all service level agreements and team objectives. Perform root-cause operation break fixes and other enthusiastic maintenance activities to keep the application up and running 24x7. Interact with Systems, Database personnel, Engineering, Product Development, Risk and various groups within Technology. Participate in deep dive root cause and analysis (RCA) for issues encountered for associated services. Perform disaster recovery plan without impacting any related services. Implement extensive application monitoring objectives. Implement self-healing services to minimize or eliminate downtime. Implement application and system changes according to best practice. Work with the development team to resolve issues, enhance applications, and advice. Participate on the on-call rotation. Resolve incidents and problems in accordance within defined guidelines and meet operational level agreements. Position reports to the Austin, Texas office and allows for partial telecommuting.
Qualifications:
Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, followed by 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or in a systems analyst-related occupation.Alternatively, employer will accept a Master's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a systems
analyst-related occupation.
