Overview of Job Function:

The Sr. Solution Architect is a digital enabler and technical individual contributor with a deep understanding of business goals, business strategies, business processes and solution architectures within a specific business unit or technology domain. Demonstrates strong knowledge on Oracle Financials and Supply Chain modules, preferably more on GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, OM, Pricing and Service Contracts.

Reporting to the VP of Corporate Systems, the Senior Solutions Architect will be responsible for collaborating closely with business and technical leaders across the organization to design, develop, and drive an integrated architecture that aligns with their needs and drives operator efficiencies, incremental revenue opportunities as well as optimization and further benefit from the current tools in place. In addition, key to this role will be to lead efforts to gain a competitive business advantage through the innovative use of technology to better serve Verint business users.

Principal Duties and Essential Responsibilities:

  • Develop short and long-term technical architecture roadmaps and provide the leadership necessary for the successful design, development, and execution of that roadmap in a timely, cost effective, and quality basis. Drive operational execution to ensure technologies are in place and fully supported.

  • Supports, configures, and rolls out EBS Oracle applications features on Finance and Supply chain modules.

  • Establishes architecture definition and direction for business platform(s) within a business unit or technology domain to align with business needs, business strategies and the client's Technology strategy.

  • Continuously seeks ways to improve employee experiences and the client's experiences by leveraging technology. Identifies opportunities to digitize services (internal and client-facing).

  • Collaborates with senior business and IT stakeholders to secure strong engagement for the solution and ensures that the delivery of the platform aligns to longer-term strategic roadmap initiatives.

  • Collaborates with business SMEs, analysts, engineers, architects, and other roles from multiple disciplines to conduct strategic options analysis and high-level design for platform(s). Presents to stakeholders on how options will meet their needs.

  • Creates solution overviews and architecture overviews to define technology approaches and solutions to integrate software, applications, infrastructure, security technologies and third-party solutions as required to meet business and technical requirements of the organization.

  • Partners with business and technology SMEs to ensure that technology solutions are fit for purpose, meet business requirements, and align with the strategic technology vision.

  • Improves efficiency by helping business and technology leaders identify opportunities to leverage existing technologies and platforms to improve customer experiences, internal user experiences, efficiency, security and/or stability.

  • Leads small team efforts to design and deliver proof of concept solutions and/or pilot solutions for scenarios when a new technology is being introduced to meet a business need.

  • Keep current with trends and issues in the IT industry, including current and evolving technologies and prices. Advise, counsel, and educate management on their competitive or financial impact.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, and/or Information Systems or equivalent work experience.

  • A minimum of 10+ years’ experience as an Oracle Application functional resource designer, architecting, solutioning, configuring application flows for finance and supply chain business functions.

  • Must have Oracle Financial modules experience in GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, OM.

  • Thorough knowledge of the software development life cycle.

  • Proven experience in systems integration and external partnership development. Must work well with vendors/outsourcers and be versed in setting standards and measurements for IT processes.

  • Familiarity with all up & down-stream Finance processes.

  • Must have Oracle implementation experience with localizations.

  • Ability to analyze business needs to ensure Oracle solution meets the customer’s objectives by combining industry best practices, product knowledge, and business acumen.

  • Actively listens and demonstrates positive behaviors which promote effective communication.

  • Must function as primary point-of-contact for liaison between Finance & IT.

  • Cross-cultural sensitivity and fully understands and adopts Verint values.

  • Positive, collaborative, and solution-oriented demeanor.

  • Limited domestic travel to the Alpharetta, GA or Melville, NY offices.

  • Successful completion of a background screening process including, but not limited to, employment verifications, criminal search, OFAC, SS Verification, as well as credit and drug screening, where applicable and in accordance with federal and local regulations.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Desired Oracle Cloud Certification.

  • Knowledge on competitive product offerings such as AI & RPA.
