Trend Micro, Inc.has multiple openingsin Austin, Texas for a Sr. Software Development Engineer in Test.
DUTIES: Develop effective test plan by working with cross-functional team (Developer, Test Engineers). Develop automated system test cases for new functionalities. Execute manual and automated test cases of TrendMicro Network security products and SaaS offering from Trend. Contribute towards enhancing test automation framework for functional and system test cases. Active participation in agile ceremonies to plan and execute software test plans. Collaborate with development teams in defect discovery, resolution, reproduction, and verification. Setup of test environments in the test lab. Understanding new tools/technologies and implementing right test solutions.
REQUIREMENTS:Employer will accept a Masters degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and 2 years of work experience in the job offered or in a computer related occupation.
Position requires:
Linux and cloud environments.
Test case automation frameworks and writing automated test.
Object-oriented programming languages: Java, or Python.
Agile development methodology.
Basic networking protocol; and
Cloud technologies: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
